Wellness Care For Happy and Healthy Pets

Your pet’s well-being is important. We offer complete wellness care, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment that helps us quickly diagnose, treat, and monitor any medical condition. Every pet deserves to have their own plan to meet their unique needs. At Constant Companion Animal Hospital, we work hard to provide that – we can help you with a newborn pet, adult pet, or senior pet. Pet’s needs are different, and we can help you create a unique wellness care plan that is right for your pet.

Some factors that will be used to determine the best wellness care plan for your pet include age, breed, temperament, and lifestyle of your pet. Our skilled team will assess your pets health and create a plan to keep your pet healthy and happy.

Our friendly and dedicated staff is here to help you understand:

  • How needs will change as your pet ages
  • Specifics related to your pet’s breed
  • The importance of annual exams
  • Treatment options for different medical conditions
  • Vaccinations needed and how often they need to be administered

Annual Wellness Visits

At this appointment our team will carefully examine your pet – paying close attention to:

  • Eyes, ears, mouth, and nose
  • Teeth and gums
  • Heart, lungs, and abdomen
  • Skin
  • Paws and nails
  • Orthopedic issues such as arthritis

We will review your pet’s medical history, if available, to help give a clear picture of their health. Detailed notes from this visit will be maintained in your pet’s file for future reference.

In addition to a physical exam, other concerns may be discussed to help ensure your pet’s long-term wellness.

These may include:

  • Behavioral training
  • Exercise routines
  • Food choices
  • Parasite control products
  • Vaccination decisions

What if there is a problem with my pet?

If potential problems are found – additional tests can be ordered to further investigate the issue:

  • Blood work
  • EKG/electrocardiogram
  • X-rays
  • Ultrasound

Most tests can be performed on-site for a fast and accurate diagnosis –  appropriate treatment can normally begin right away. If more sophisticated testing is required, we utilize a certified veterinary laboratory and can work with board-certified specialists in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, imaging, ophthalmology, and pathology to provide your pet with the best care.

Schedule an appointment today so we can set your friend on the fast track to good health!
