Alison Kiger
Receptionist
Alison has worked in a vet clinic for the last 4 years. She loves greeting the pets and helping them feel calm walking through the door. She has a family of 5- 2 daughters and one son and her husband Andy. She has 3 animals- 2 cats, MJ and Rue, and a German Shepherd, Nash. She loves working with animals and caring for them. In her spare time, she enjoys grilling on the back porch with her family and enjoying her kid’s extracurricular activities. Alison is excited to be a member of our Constant Companion Family.
Chad Gibson
Veterinary Technician
Chad has been working in the veterinary field for over 30 years with extensive experience in emergency medicine and surgical procedures. Outside of work, he has a passion for cooking, photography, playing the drums and spending time at the lake with his family and two French bulldogs – Bugsy and Rosco.
Justin Rodgers
Veterinary Technician
Justin started his career in veterinary medicine in 2021 after working 10+ years in human medicine. Currently, he is working on an advanced veterinary technology degree from Penn Foster College. Justin’s passion for the dachshund breed runs deep. He has one of his own named, Kaiser, and a cat named Mittens. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, boating on the lake with his family, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball.
Leah Sain
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Leah graduated in May 2023 with her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Jefferson State Community College. She is a Birmingham native who originally began her career in Public Health earning her graduate degree from the University of Louisville. After losing her beloved Great Pyrenees to cancer, she decided to pursue her lifelong passion for animals. Leah has been in the veterinary field for over 3 years and enjoys patient care. Outside of work, she loves to partake in outdoor adventures with her rescue dog, Ferguson. She also has a cat, Oscar, who joins her and Ferguson on routine walks through the neighborhood.
Bonnie
Veterinary Technician
Bonnie has worked in veterinary medicine since 2008. She has worked as a receptionist and most recently a veterinary technician. Bonnie has two kids, Kaden and Alexis, 2 dogs, Nyx and Cora, 4 cats, Onyx, Nala, Jack, and Oreo, 2 ducks, Frank and Susan, as well as a large variety of reptiles including snakes, geckos, and bearded dragons (unfortunately Constant Companion still only sees cats and dogs). When not working at Constant Companion she assists with snake removals and relocations with Alabama Snake Removers. In her spare time she enjoys hiking or anything outdoors, and attending concerts.
Deanna Davis
Receptionist
After living in Jacksonville, FL for 20 plus years, Deanna moved back to her hometown of Birmingham in 2018. Since her return, she has continued to work in veterinary medicine as a receptionist in the Hoover area. She has 2 cats, Veronica Mars and Betty Boop, who absolutely rule the roost. When not working, Deanna loves going to concerts and movies, all things Marvel comics related, and spending time with friends and family both in Birmingham and Jacksonville. She is very excited to be a member of the CCAH team
Kelly Reid
Receptionist
Originally from Selma, Al., Kelly graduated from Auburn University in 1991 with a B.S. in Zoology. After graduation, she worked at the Montgomery Zoo, first as a zookeeper followed by a short tenure as the Curator of Education. In 1995, Wayne (Kelly’s husband) and her relocated to St. Louis, Mo., where she worked at the Wild Canid Survival and Research Center. She moved to Orlando, Fl. in 1997 where she worked as an animal keeper and researcher at Disney’s Animal Kingdom taking care of a diverse collection of animals including hippos and black rhinos. From Orlando, she moved to Jacksonville, Fl. and became a stay-at-home mom. She returned to her home state of Alabama in 2011, and now that her son and daughter are away attending college in Florida (UCF and FSU), she has decided to return to the workforce. Kelly and her husband currently have 4 cats, all rescues, and her daughter also has a rescue cat with her at college.
