Dr. Sara Choquette grew up in Anniston, Alabama. She started at Auburn University in 2001 where she received both her B.S. in Animal Science and DVM degrees. Following graduation in 2009, she completed a 1-year internship in Equine Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State University. Her first job out of vet school was at an equine referral practice in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. After 3 years, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and worked with at small animal practice. In 2016, she moved to Birmingham and has been serving the cats and dogs of the Birmingham metro area ever since. She joined the team at Constant Companion in 2024.
Dr. Choquette has an interest in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys all things outdoors including hiking with her two dogs, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
