We offer state of the art equipment and technology for both the pet and owner that allows us to assess your pets health.

AVAILABLE IN-HOUSE DIAGNOSTICS

What we observe on the physical exam may not explain your pet’s illness. Sometimes the problem requires further investigation. Fortunately, our laboratory is equipped to diagnose most illnesses to help us understand your pet’s health.

We offer these diagnostics tests:

• Complete blood count (CBC)
• Blood chemistry
• Thyroid function
• Urinalysis
• Stool examinations
• Cytological exam (an analysis of skin cells)

AVAILABLE IN-HOUSE IMAGING – X-RAYS & ULTRASOUNDS

We can examine broken bones, take dental x-rays, and assess internal organs without invasive procedures. While x-rays produce a still image, ultrasound allows us to observe the internal structure of organs.

We utilize x-rays and ultrasounds in a variety of different situations:

• Assessing your pet’s heart and lungs
• Assessing bones for breaks and fractures 
• Evaluating sore or painful joints
• Examining the abdominal cavity and organs
• Locating ingested foreign objects
